The nutrition article i mentioned is in J.Ren. Nutr. 2000 10
(4): 170-83 Lupus Erythematosus and Nutrition: A review of the
literature. By the way this article also discusses SLE. I'm not
srue to what detail or if they are calling it sometimes SLE when
they are talking about SLE.
The abstract is listed below, so it's not the whole article but
it can give you some ideas. There is a way to order the whole
article on that site somewhere.

Where are you located that you are looking for a homeopath? ONe
of the reasons the DHEA is important which you may already know
is not only because it has been helpful, but also Lupus patients
with low DHEA tend to have worse outcomes. So I'm glad you're
going to check the hormone status.
Susan recommends Oatstraw and Oats as being helpful for those
dealing with Lupus.
Also I wanted to ask about your swollen throat is that due to
infection or what do you feel is going on with that. I know that
Lupus patients have problems with infections due to the Lupus,
but sometimes there can be other immunological problems going
on that might be fueling things and making them worse. For example
low natural killer cells etc. Have you ever had an immunological
workup that is not just the ANA, C3, C4, and other antibody tests
for Lupus. Not that you need another thing to worry about! But
it might help you with choosing some of the other herbs that might
be helpful. You know Nettle does modulate the immune system and
lymphatics are strenthening to the immune system as well.
Here's an abstract for Nettles Use in the prevention of an SLE
likepathology in mice

Abstracts of two studies of Chinese Herbal Medicine and Lupus,
one of which discusses Nephritis. There are several other studies
as well showing a positive effect.

So there's just a few ideas and articles you might want to think
about.
