Waiting..is hard...but oh the addiction of making your own preparations.
And an herbalists job is never done until we get a rest after
fall...lol. "Get a kick out of buying" comment made
me giggle because last weekend I got so excited about finding
two whole boxes of baby food jars of different sizes at a garage
sale for 2.00! Jars for salves, oils,etc..and my herb class students
to make things. It's the little things. I too made some plantain
oil, cleavers tincture and another batch of chickweed oil. And
yikes, the same week the violets were in full force which meant
making some violet blossom honey (just because I had to). This
week, there are violet leaves to harvest and roses are blooming
for honey, vinegars and oil....drove by a field of wonderful healthy
blooming red clover....I know what you mean! Creating, creating!
Now is a busy time and I fill some of the waiting by reading/studying
on other plants and teaching class
Can't have class every weekend, this herbalist needs her own harvesting
and making time ya know (wink).
I'm glad you've got the bug too. Green Blessings
